"Tanglewood"

That's the name of this self-supporting (!)
sculpture by Shayne Dark at
the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.  It's
made of reclaimed and painted cedar logs.
(Do you suppose that when it's
time to un-install it, they'll just pull
out one strategic log and the whole thing
will come crashing down?)

  1. Impressive, especially in that blue. I would love to be there when they pull the key log out. [ tongue in cheek]

  2. (Ha! I wouldn’t be surprised! Another way to get rid of it could be to rub a couple of those logs together long enough...)

  3. How unusual. At least, they used a pretty, bright blue.

  4. They should put Christmas lights on it.

  5. It is so interesting I hope they leave it in place for long time.

  6. Hi Alexa, Wow, is all I can say about this sculpture. The color blue is striking and "all fall down" would be very sad. Smile!

Thank you for your sweet comment and joining Blue Monday.

  7. Love the color. It does look like a mish-mash of Jenga....
