inSPIREd Sunday

Here's a doorway detail of a little
off-the-beaten-track church,
San Crisogono, which is in Trastevere.
It was built in the 4th century,
rebuilt in the 12th, and finally again
in the early 1600s.

  1. A lot of neat stuff going on around that doorway. I became curious about what the bell tower to the left sounded like. It’s pretty boisterous.

  2. Very lovely details on this doorway. It's awesome that it is still cared for.
